Using filters and the Model Selector
The Overview dashboard has two main filters at the top of the page that control what data is displayed across all cards. Here's how to use them.
Date Range Picker
The date range picker is on the left side of the filter bar. It lets you choose the time period for your dashboard data.
Preset options:
Option | What it shows |
|---|---|
Today | Latest scan results from today |
Last 7 days | Short-term trends over the past week |
Last 30 days | Default view — good for spotting patterns |
Last 90 days | Medium-term performance over 3 months |
Last year | Long-term trends over 12 months |
All time | Your complete history since account creation |
The default selection is Last 30 days.
Custom date range:
You can also select a custom date range by clicking the calendar below the presets. Pick a start and end date to focus on a specific period — useful for measuring the impact of a particular engagement campaign.
What the date range affects:
Changing the date range updates all cards on the dashboard:
- Visibility Score chart shows the trend line for that period
- Change indicators ("+5% vs previous day") adjust to the selected period
- Competitor rankings reflect average performance over that time
- Citation Coverage and Share of Voice are recalculated
- Engagement Opportunities may change based on recency
Tip: Use shorter ranges (7d, 30d) to track the impact of recent engagement activity. Use longer ranges (90d, 1 year) to see overall progress and verify the compounding effect of consistent engagement.
Model Selector
The model selector is on the right side of the filter bar. It lets you filter your data by specific AI models.

How it works:
- Click the selector to open a dropdown of available AI models
- Select "All models" to see combined data across every model (default)
- Select one or more specific models to focus your dashboard on just those platforms
- The trigger shows "All models", a single model name, or "X models" depending on your selection
Available models:
- ChatGPT (OpenAI)
- Perplexity
- Gemini (Google)
- Google AI Mode
- Google AIO
- Grok (xAI)
- Microsoft Copilot
Plan-based access:
Not all models are available on every plan:
Plan | Models included |
|---|---|
Starter ($99/mo) | Google AI Mode, Perplexity |
Growth ($299/mo) | Choose any 4 models |
Enterprise ($499+/mo) | All models |
Models not included in your plan appear as locked in the selector with an Upgrade button that takes you to the billing page.
When to filter by model:
- Comparing performance across models — Your brand might be highly visible on Perplexity but invisible on ChatGPT. Filtering by model reveals these differences.
- Targeting specific platforms — If your audience primarily uses one AI platform, focus your dashboard and engagement strategy on that model.
- Diagnosing drops — If your overall visibility dropped, filter by model to see which specific platform caused the decline.
- Post-engagement analysis — After engaging on citation sources, check specific models to see which ones picked up the changes first.
Combining both filters
The date range and model selector work together. For example:
- "Last 7 days" + "ChatGPT" — Shows your ChatGPT-specific visibility over the past week
- "Last 90 days" + "All models" — Shows your overall trend over 3 months
- "Last 30 days" + "Perplexity" — Shows how you're performing specifically on Perplexity
This combination is powerful for targeted analysis — especially when you want to measure the impact of engagement on a specific AI platform over a specific time period.
