How to assign a reply to the OP of a thread?
If you’ve posted a thread through CrowdReply and want the original poster (OP) account to reply to comments on that thread, you can assign those replies easily.
How it works
- This works for any comment on that thread.
- The OP account can reply to any user’s comment inside the thread.
- This is useful for:
- Continuing conversations naturally
- Keeping the discussion under the original poster’s account
Steps:
- Copy the URL of the comment you want the OP to reply to. (This only works if the thread is posted using our platform)
- Go to your CrowdReply dashboard and select Reply to a Comment.
- Paste the comment URL in the field.
- Write the reply content.
- Assign it to the OP account of the thread (the system will automatically detect the OP if the thread was posted via our platform).
- Submit the task.
You can also:
- Create a reply chain (multiple back-and-forth replies for a natural conversation).
- Assign comments to the OP on a thread.
Important note
In some cases, the system may not be able to detect or reuse the OP account.
When this happens, it usually means the account has been suspended or banned by Reddit and can no longer be used for further engagement.
